Dallin's 3rd birthday was today. I saw a mom on TV a while back who had taken a picture of her kids every year on their birthday, first thing in the morning when they were still in bed. Then she put them all together so you could see all of them at once. I thought it was cute idea so I started it last year with Dallin.
Later during the day we went to the park. Dallin loves the swings so that's what he wanted to do for his special day.

When I told Dallin the night before that we were going to the park, he said,"the swings?" He loves the swings more than any other kid I know.

Elliot loves the swings, but Landon was not a big fan (that's putting it lightly). He hated it so much there wasn't any time to take a picture.
Later that night we pulled out the cake and I had run out of candles. All I had was trick candles so I put those on. I was afraid he might cry, but it was the exact opposite. I don't think I have ever see that kid laugh so hard in his whole life. He seriously laughed his head off for more than 20 minutes and when the candles burned so low that we couldn't use them anymore, he started to cry. I felt bad, but those 20 minutes were priceless. It must be great to be 3 years old!
