November

I really should post more often, but I still don't have a desk so I have to kneel down to use the computer and that is too painful to do for extended periods of time. Unfortunately, I have not been very diligent in taking pictures. That means I don't have much to show for November, but here it is anyway.

Mark turned 30. Are we really getting that old? Yes.
I saw this cake in the Martha Stewart Living magazine years ago and cut out the recipe. I knew I wanted to make it, but wanted to wait for a special occasion. It didn't turn out as I had envisioned, but I think it turned out pretty well. Plus it was really yummy.

Steven turned 2. I wanted to be more ambitious with his cake, but we were really sick for 2 weeks and I could hardly make a cake. He was happy with it and that's all that matters.

I have tried to make french bread numerous times, but it never works for me. It's always flat, but I followed the instructions this time and it actually worked. Plus it tasted good.
Ryder started solids. He seems to like them, but he is not a fast learner. He spits it out, blows raspberries constantly and doesn't eat very much. I'm hoping he gets better at it quickly.
It snowed and Mark and Steven built a snowman. Dallin said it was too cold to go outside. I agreed with Dallin.
Mark said the snowman looked angry. He probably just knew he was going to melt later that day.
We had girls night and went to see New Moon. We had pizza and lots of fun. I can't wait for Eclipse.

Your little boys are so cute... :) Do you have the recipe for that bread? It looks delicious. Don't freeze! We got a snowstorm this weekend in Utah and now it's cold!

Hi! I got them from Nordstrom, but had to order them online beacause they weren't available in the stores in Az. I love them and totally was able to wear them my entire wedding day! They're called Glint. Were a little on the pricey side for me...but it was MY wedding day, so I let it slide. Hope this info helps you!!
